KERI (Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute) announced that they developed a new technique to make transparent electrodes. In the announcement, KERI reported they developd special conductive liquid that consists of carbon nanotubes (CNT), binders, stabilization compounds, etc. A KERI researcher Geon-Woong Lee said that manufacturers do not need to depend on conventional indium tin oxide (ITO)-based process to get transparent electrodes. Traditional process suffers from high pressure and heat process. Transparent electrodes are widely used for LCD and touch screen manufacturing processes.
