Touchless touch screen that senses your finger in the air

New 3D touch technology has been introduced by Elliptic Labs. The company says that the touch system can detect a user's finger in the air with their 3D sensing technology.

Elliptic Labs is paving the way for use of computers and screens without touching, simply with the finger or hand in the air - over, around, next to or on the device.

The patented 3D technology recognizes with high precision the position and properties of an object, such as a finger or hand, in the air up to 1,5 meters (5 feet).

  • Applied to 3D touchless touch screen

  • Applied to virtual 2D mouse pad.
