PSoC Mini

PSoC Mini

The PSoC Mini is an open-source hardware, 8051 pin-compatible version of Cypress Semiconductor's PSoC 3 System-on-a-chip microcontroller. The PSoC is a powerful microcontroller due to it's flexible digital block array and powerful analog routing features.

The PSoC Mini includes an on-board USB programmer, 36 pins that can be used for both digital and analog signals, an onboard regulator, and can take voltage from USB or from an external circuit. The project was funded by a grant from Cypress Semiconductor in collaboration with the Interface Ecology Lab. Future work will develop more open-source hardware PSoC development tools, including an Arduino compatible form-factor.
